Our Service uses state of the art security to keep our system safe and secure, as well as our user's private information. The system makes use of automatic security measures to perform things such as locking user accounts for too many failed login attemps, locking user accounts for suspicious activity, and outright blocking IP addresses, among other things. If your access to our Service is lost due to our automatic security detection, please notify us so we can investigate and restore your access if warranted.
We also use advanced encryption and hashing techniques to protect critical user information such as passwords and user location information. We do not store any critical user information in plain text. Anything that can be considered personally identifiable is secured using encryption or hashing, as necessary.
In addition to the security measures above, we also utilize a Geolocation IP Address system. With this system, users are required to verify the login attempt via a link sent to their e-mail address on file. To keep location data safe, we encrypt everything including coordinates, city, state, and country. You can read more about this feature in our Privacy Policy. By using our Service, you consent to your login location being recorded to help secure your account and the web site.
